Today was a long day. After a late start and a small beach walk, I hiked on the road to Waipu where I had a nice coffee break. At noon it was time to go further. After another gravel road walk to get to the forest, I entered the Langsview track. A nice change from all the road walk! It was nice and after the forest and a walk through some farmland, the trail hit the Mangawhai walkway wich was a very nice path through the beautiful coastal cliffs.
I arrived late in Mangawhai Heads and decided to get a hostel room and some beer and pizza for lunch.
