Via Alpina Day 15 : Kandersteg to Adelboden

Wow! Already 292 Km. Time also is flying by. After a sleep at the Kanderstegs campground and a nice breakfast, I took my fresh ordered bread and left around 8:30. Again 1400m were at the program of todays section. The sun was already shining hot above the sky. The trail was first flat, passing by the international scout center but then went steep up to the Uschenen valley. I sweated quite a lot up this valley. It was the end of my problems because another steep section brought me to the alp Alpschele were I took my first break and had two nice glass of very fresh milk (from the cow who said hi right next to the alp) and also bought a good piece of cheese ( alpmuntschli) which is produced daily with cauldron heated by firewood. After this nice stop I tackled the last uphill part to the Burdenchrinde. The pass was steep on both sides so it wasn’t easy to find a place to have lunch. After a small break I started to go down the very steep hill of small stones. You have to stay concentrated on order to not slip down the mountain. The path went all the way down to Adelboden where I found a good Bärg Bier and pitched my tent in a campground next to the river. It’s cold water was perfect after this hot day.
