11hours with a snack break in Bulls
And back to the windy beach. The tide was still high so the walking was tiring. The trail left the beach to go through a nice and calm forest before hitting the roads again. The wind was pushing me sideways it was fun. I reached Bulls where I got a flat white and some food before moving forward to Mt Lee’s reserve where I found a nice place to pitch my tent and a nice summer house to cook. Some other TA hikers were there together with a couple of Swiss people touring NZ in a Toyota Yaris. It was a nice evening.
