Went on to Te Kuiti today. The trail goes through farmland and I was lucky to get through it without getting rammed by some aggressive bulls, as other hikers reported. The trail went on two muddy hills and the way down was quite slippery. The trail then passes a nice bird reserve forest before getting up and down on farm hills. Just before The Kuiti you walk through a disc golf course in the forest. I resupplied and ate something in town before pitching my tent at Sue’s place. Tomorrow should be an easy day under the rain along a nice river.
