Wow just found out I passed the half length of my Via Alpina. I started the day slowly this morning around nine from the Campground. I first got up to Trübsee and it was already hot. After meeting a crew removing all the vegetables on the trail. I arrived at Trübsee but decided to go on to the Jochpass wich I reached 3 hours after I started. Nice time for a break but still
a little chillyy at 2200m. I then went down to the Engstlen Lake going through the construction site of a new cable car. Always interesting things to see. I finished the planed section around 13h30 and after a quick brainstorm decided to hike further, a little bit at least until the Tannen Lake. As I arrived already there after hiking on a ridge at 14h15 I moved further. I reached Balmeregghorn and then Planplatten at 16:40 and looked for a place to pitch my tent but they wasn’t lot of possibilities. I then started to hike down to Meiringen which I reached at 19:10.
Nice and long day. This also means another zero day until Saturday for the next section.
