WCT 15-20 May 2019

Hello there. Just taking some time before my next hike to post a little review of my west coast trail. In short it was great! We had all kind of weather you can expect in this region but most of time it was sunny. I even got a sunburn, one of the last thing I hoped to get there. It took us 6 days to walk the 75kms (+5kms bonus to reach Bamfield). On day 1 we hiked from Gordon River to Campers CreekDay 2 brought us to Walbran Creek.Day 3 was spent reaching Nibbs Creek. On day 4 we camped at the Thusiats falls and experienced full moon tide. ( Some other campers got there feet wet…On our last night, we stayed at Darling river. The place was less crowded than Michigan and we even found a windless spot!It was long but we didn’t even fell that tired at the end.I will post some pictures in the future but would recommend to discover the trail by yourself.Tomorrow I am hitting the sunshine coast trail. It starts with a boat ride to get to the starting point of the trail. I can’t wait to be back on the track.

Almost ready!
