Via Alpina Day 12 : Grindelwald to Lauterbrunnen

After my arrival at Grindelwald and having some coffee, my mom and I started todays section. For once you start to go down before passing to the Grund train station and starting the ascent to todays pass called “Kleine Scheidegg”. As we started only around 9:40 (we waited for the rain to fade out before getting to the Interlaken train station) it was quite hot and so we sweated quite a bit. We reached Alpligen and had a good apple donut and homemade ice tea break. We reached the pass around 13h00 and then went down in direction of Wengen. We had our lunch break under some shade where we are some nice local cheese (called Muntschli). We reached Wengen one hour later for a small ice cream break and then went down to our day destination Lauterbrunnen. It’s was hot down there and we were happy to finally get a cold beer.
