Let’s write a few words about this special journey through the States. The Empire Builder is an Amtrak train Line that starts in the Seattle main train station and ends up 2000 miles or some 46 hours later according to it’s timeplan at the Union station in Chicago. It is a fantastic opportunity to discover the country in a slow pace and also meet a lot of different habitants from this big country. From retired Air Force worker to Amish family, lots of people still use this mean of transportation to cross the country.
